My third swayback

I just received my third swayback, this one the pocket worn old red bone sway back gent. I rated it 4 stars because it has a couple minor defects. First the blade is not perfectly centered when closed, but it does not rub the liner. It's not an issue with the use of the knife. Second the bolster on the back side of the knife is not perfectly ground or finished and is thicker on blade side than it is on the spring side. Again, it is just a minor defect that does not affect the use of the knife at all.
Now, for the good part. This knife is much like the sway back jacks I have reviewed here before. The blade length on this knife measures just a bit over 2-1/4" from the tip to the bolster. The knife is right at 5/16" thick over the scales. It measures 3-5/32" closed. The scales are a deep red color that looks great and the pocketworn finish is really nice. The blade is Case's Tru-Sharp stainless and came shaving sharp.
This is an ideal gentleman's pocket knife. This knife has the potential to unseat my mini copperhead as my most carried pocket knife. I like it a lot and recommend it. The price here is very good and as I write this review, shipping is free making it even better. - EJ
